Aloe vanbalenii flower colours vary from yellow and orange to pink or dully red. The inflorescence may be branched. The flowering time is winter. This species is among the more attractive and easy to grow garden plants. Try it in rocky places with good drainage, compost and full sun. It tends to spread and becomes a conspicuous member of its "neighbourhood" in your garden.
