Description
The hiccup nut or 'hikklimop' (Afrikaans) is a small coastal tree that sometimes scrambles among the trees growing around it. It is mainly found in KZN. The attractive orange (or sometimes red) spring flowers depend mainly on the protruding flower parts, the stamens and style for its beauty.
