Description
Nebelia paleacea is a shrub of about 1 m in height that grows on sandstone slopes in the south-western Cape. The flowers appear in terminal clusters from autumn to spring. The flower-head is cream to pinkish red and covered in narrow, scaly white bracts protruding above the flowers like a small brush. The leaves are small, triangular and cling to the stem (Bean & Johns).
