Fleshy, sessile, ovate, opposite, slightly recurving; green with semi-randomly spread maroon dots, often pinkish towards the apex in older leaves; edge entire with a row of dots and a row of minute whitish stubble-like protuberances resembling millipede legs along the leaf edges

Dense terminal panicles of conspicuous flowers, white corolla on a five segmented green calyx, dark anthers
